Airport Lounge Access is one of the top credit card benefits out there. The ability to have a quiet place to relax, eat free food, drink free alcohol, and access to more private bathrooms will really improve your travel experience. Some lounges even have private nap rooms, showers, free massage therapists, and free manicures or pedicures. Once you get accustomed to spending time in airport lounges, you won’t ever want to spend time in a regular terminal every again. Additionally, many cards allow you to bring guests in with you.

Digital Cards: American Express Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Ritz (discontinued) Citi Prestige, and U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve offer the ability to generate a Digital Priority Pass card instead of carrying around the physical card in your wallet. All you have to do is sign into the Priority Pass mobile app and show the lounge the digital card.
2 Hour Rule– You can visit the same Priority Pass restaurant or lounge every two hours. There are no time restrictions on visiting different restaurants or lounges, so you could do Portland’s three restaurants and a lounge within two hours.
Minute Suites- You should download the Minute Suites app and reserve a room in advance. Minute Suites only has 6-10 suites, so demand is usually high, and reservations are free to make.
Lounge Access at U.S. Airports
American Express Platinum cardholders only have access to Delta SkyClubs when flying Delta or a co-share. Starting in January 2019, Delta Skyclub members must be flying Delta or a partner for access. Starting in November 2019, Admirals Club members must be flying American or partner airline for access. Additionally, some Priority Pass restaurants only allow one guest even if your card allows unlimited guests (check the fine print on the mobile app) and be sure to check the Yelp reviews for each airport restaurant (some places have bad food, so stick to grabbing a drink at those places).
