Other Ways to Earn Marriott Points

Transfer Partners- You can transfer 1 to 1 from American Express Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards, but I would avoid it. You can also transfer Diner Club Rewards at a rate of 1,250 to 1,500 Marriott points.

Referring Friends- You can refer up to five friends per year to sign up for a Marriott account and earn 2,000 points for each of their stays up to 5 stays (50,000 bonus points maximum). They also earn an extra 2,000 points after their first five stays.

Transferring Between Accounts- Marriott members can transfer up to a maximum of 100,000 points per calendar year between any two accounts in good standing that have been opened for at least 60 days.

Meetings and Events- You earn 2 points per dollar on eligible room, food, beverages, and audio/visual charges for a total of up to 60,000 Marriott Rewards Points for each event. Platinum Premier Elite members can earn a maximum of 105,000 points per event.
